Professor Mauro F Pereira visited our chapter for a few days and presented an interesting lecture on the 2nd of March 2009, entitled "21st Century Optical Engineering: Manipulating Nonequilibrium Many Body Effects to Create new THz Devices". You can find some pictures with our guest bellow. There is also some information in the report about the event.
In 2004, July 5-6 the Romanian Spie Student Chapter hosted SPIE president, Mr. James Bilbro.
